It’s fun to bring you an occasional special behind-the-scenes look at how we design our hand crafted soaps. Fruity Flight was inspired by one of our Li’l Soaper’s love of birds. While enjoying a story together on an adventurous historical account of life on The Oregon Trail, we read about the magpie bird which was a new one to some of us. A bit of research revealed that magpies are a stunning black and white bird with wings that give off a gorgeous blue and green sheen when touched by the glorious rays of the sun. It was right then that the vision for this soap came to life. The swirl is made with a technique called a “Pipe Divider Swirl”, one of our favorite techniques ever!
The fun design begged for an equally fun fragrance blend. If you love happy and bright fruit scents, this absolutely delicious fruity fragrance blended with both Lime and Grapefruit Essential Oils is one you definitely won’t want to miss!
