Victory w/40% Laurel Berry Oil

You may already be familiar with world-renowned “Aleppo” soap. Traditionally made in Aleppo, Syria with Olive and Laurel Berry Oils, these soaps are a “gold standard” in the soaping world, touted for their many skin benefits. They are an all-natural and very mild soap, recommended for any skin type. With no added colorant, fragrance, or essential oil, the natural smoky scent of the rich Laurel Berry Oil shines through.
Soaps high in Olive Oil require a longer cure time (this batch has been patiently cured for over one year). They also tend to have more of a creamy, lotion-like lather. If desired, you can naturally boost the lather by using a Soap Net with your soap.
Why the name “Victory”? We named our version of Aleppo soap (the 40% Laurel Berry Oil version), “Victory”, because wreaths or crowns fashioned from the leaves and branches of the Laurel plant, were traditionally used (Greece, Rome) to honor victors and heroes (Britannica.com).
Price: You may have noticed our Laurel Berry Oil soaps are priced a bit higher than our other hand crafted soaps; this is due to the cost of Laurel Berry Oil. We make sure to purchase our Laurel Berry Oil during our supplier’s annual sale so that we can keep these “gold standard” soaps priced as reasonably as possible for our customers!
